“All Our Dreams Can Come True, if We Have the Courage to Pursue Them.” –Walt Disney

We all wish to live a standardized life where we can simply procure anything, we wish to but this could only appear when we learn to work hard for our dream. No one can indeed achieve its dream by just sitting and daydreaming of it. But what is required is our dedication towards our goal. And if we devote ourselves to the dreams, we wish to pursue then the universe helps us to attain our goal. Although it is easy to state that we should dare to pursue our dreams difficult to implement it but the moment you decide to choose your dreams over any other thing and prioritize it then we will surely achieve it one day.

“Para sa ‘kin, isang karangalan na naka-tungtong ako dio sa Binibining Pilipinas bilang isang binibining hindi inaasahan. Para sa ‘kin, ang sarap palang mangarap. Walang imposible.Isa po akong komedyante na laki sa hirap at ang aking transpormasyon ay ang magbigay ng inspirasyon because I know for myself that I am uniquely beautiful with a mission,”

Harlene Budol

A real life Cinderella Story

Herlene Nicole Budol’s story of encouragement and empowerment has given freedom by continuing to be extremely clever and extremely kind. It’s a story about how being good sends good back to you. It’s a story about how being clever helps your chances in life. And it’s a story about how you can push through anything if you only have a little positive encouragement.

She is a multi-gifted  entertainer and host of Wowowin, a Filipino assortment game program. She rose to noticeable quality in the wake of showing up on the Wowowin episode “Willie of Fortune”

But before she raised into fame, she was teased because she had the figure but not the appearance and given the name “Hipon”. For those who don’t know, hipon (shrimp) is often used to refer to a person with a great body but a less desirable face — derived from the common practice of throwing away the head when they eat shrimp.

The name “Hipon Girl” stuck to her after winning Binibining Angono in 2017. She felt so victorious after losing so many beauty contests, but not everyone was happy about her victory.

Born and raised  by her Grandparents in Angono Rizal, Manila Philippines, admitted she had self-doubts because of bullying asking herself if she is pretty. She may not fit into the mold of what is stereotypically perceived as beautiful by many, but Herlene stands out with her charm. Her sense of humor, wit, and candor made the nation instantly fall in love with her.

She used to work as a coffee shop crew member in Angono and an umbrella girl for golf players while studying. On July 17, 2022, she graduated from the College of Saint John Paul II in Cainta, Rizal with a bachelor’s degree in tourism management.

She always wanted to become a Beauty Queen and fulfilled it. On July 31, 2022, she represented Angono at Binibining Pilipinas 2022 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines where she and 39 other candidates competed for the four titles at stake. Wearing that designer Ruan Fernandez’s  “ANI” gown. According to Fernandez, that gown is purely hand embroidered full Swarovski cape gown adorned with silver eyeshape with metal claw and lochrose round one hole Xirius.  It is inspired with the rice plant also known as Palay. This piece is an extravagant display of opulence and artistry that pays tribute to the local farmers of our country as they give us a bountiful harvest

She ranked fifth and was named the first runner-up. This proves that in life, all of your dreams are valid.

Much like this powerful myth that works and accentuate the beauty of ethereal everlasting couture, the symbol of the Minokawa, a giant, dragon-like bird in the Philippine mythology that lives in outer space which can devour the sun and the moon, and would try to do the same with the world.

Mixing beautiful tailoring with modern innovation, couture and brilliantly colored in couture orange.  Its eyes are blue and shine like sapphires. Everything created emphasizes elegance and is impeccably designed and it looks like it would feel delightful to wear and to walk in.

Binibini #8 – Herlene Nicole Budol

Thus, your first impression is often built on appearance and navigate a leadership presence to empower the Minokawa in its flight rhythm by being adaptable and flexible paving the way for a more equal future beyond what they thought possible through a variety of dreams and fiery colors.
