Sony Middle East has announced the launch of its latest wireless accessories designed for content creators, vloggers, and photography enthusiasts, the GP-VPT3 Wireless Shooting Grip and RMT-VP2 Remote Commander. Compact, flexible, and designed with usability in mind, both tools are set to arrive in select Middle Eastern markets starting June 2025.
The GP-VPT3 is a versatile three-in-one device that functions as a shooting grip, tripod, and detachable remote commander. Engineered to support Alpha™ and Vlog Camera Series models, the grip is designed for stable handheld shooting and intuitive, one-handed camera control. It accommodates cameras up to 1.5 kg, offering users smooth performance across a wide range of devices.
The ergonomic design ensures comfort for both left- and right-handed users, with the built-in head mechanism allowing seamless transitions between selfie-style and outward-facing shots. With adjustable tilt angles and a streamlined button layout, users can control zoom, focus, and shutter without shifting their grip. Whether you’re capturing stills or video, the GP-VPT3 is built for flexibility and speed.
The detachable RMT-VP2 remote commander adds another layer of convenience. Featuring dedicated controls for movie recording, zoom/focus, and a customizable C1 button, the commander connects via Bluetooth® with a range of up to 10 meters. It supports wireless operation with compatible Sony cameras and Xperia™ smartphones — a major advantage for creators filming solo or capturing group shots without a second shooter.
Notably, the entire system maintains Sony’s commitment to durability, with dust and moisture resistance preserved even when the devices are in use. No cables, no external receivers — just reliable, wireless performance in any environment.
The GP-VPT3 will be available in black and white, offering both functionality and design versatility, while the RMT-VP2 can also be purchased separately. With this launch, Sony continues to support the growing needs of content creators who want more control, more freedom, and fewer limitations when working on the move.
